	Visuals are a key point of the identification process of the Cobra line of bikes. They help tell a rough idea of when the bike was made. The very first examples of Cobras from 1992 have the same visual aesthetic as the Vitace line : they have Cobra written on the top tube near the head tube in a single colour, with the model being carved out of a rectangular sticker of the same colour. In 1993, the visuals changes, the rectangle wasn't present anymore, just the model of the bike. In 1995, the visual changed again, the Cobra branding was moved further down the top tube. And the last kind of visual aesthetics of Cobras from 1997 onwards have the most refined decals, they are visually class : being sober but keeping an insight into how high the grade of the bike is. For example, they clearly say what kind of steel was used : Hi-Ten, CrMo and the likes. The most telling sign is a two-tone decal where the number designing the grade is written. 			= Geometry =

			I think it's necessary to touch on the geometry of these bikes as it is quite the conundrum. I'm not sure how many sets of geometry there are, especially considering some bikes were simply not made by Decathlon and others were made at different times, but I've looked a lot into specifically the above-mentionned 51/54/57/60/64 set of sizes. The first thing to explain about these size is that they are not measured the same way as you would bikes of this era, the numbers are effectively the stack of the bike. You measure the size of these bikes perpendicular to the ground, from the Bottom Bracket axle to the center of the top tube. I want to note that from the 2 Cobra frames I have, I couldn't find those exact measurements. So the simplest way to identify them is by looking at the head tube, specifically the gap between the top tube and the down tube, the different sizes yield fairly sizeable differences, with the exception of the 51 and 54 where I can only put it as 51 having space between the top tube and the down tube the width of a thumb when the 54 is more like two fingers.
